Fortunate Soul’s Ride
Horicon Marsh Tour
Leave from Rolling Meadows at 9:00, take 151 to Waupun, meet others at McDonald’s about 9:15
Take 49 to the east, take the auto tour to the right just past the Wild Goose Trail.  This is a 3 mile loop, with some speed bumps, 7 spots to stop and read info, walking bridge, restrooms
Return to 49, turn right and travel to non-profit Marsh Haven Nature center on the left. There is a $2.00 admission fee, not open until 12 so will just ride in and out
Return to 49, travel across the marsh, 1 spot to stop to read info
There is a viewing area to swing into and out of on the right before the turn off to Z, restroom
Turn right onto 49, right on highway Z 
Turn right onto Rustic Road 106, go 3 miles, turn right onto Z
Take Z to the free Horicon National Wildlife Refuge, 15 miles from McDonald’s
Take a right onto Z until Rockvale Road, turn right and continue to Dike Road and turn left
Turn right onto TW, turn right onto 28 to Horicon Marsh Education Center, drive in but it will be closed for expansion month of June 
Turn right onto 28, coming into Horicon, turn right on Ellsworth Street then right on Palmatory Street to marsh look out
Take Palmatory Street to Lake Street, turn right onto 33
Take 33 to Beaver Dam and have lunch at Sunview or Walker’s about 11:00 or 11:30
Time may vary depending upon time spent looking around 
Eat breakfast before hand, bring water for along the way, field glasses if desired
55 mile trip from Rolling Meadows to Beaver Dam
